Fabulous Fabric Pumpkin Ideas

18. October 2012 06:00 by tbev | 0 Comments

I love to decorate with pumpkins during fall, so it's no wonder these fabric pumpkins caught my eye. From schlubby and soft to tailored and tall, these fabric pumpkins are a great decoration that can carry from Halloween through Thanksgiving. I tracked down three different patterns to suit your skill level.

Easy: These fantastic step-by-step instructions with photos from Thompson Family Life are perfect for reluctant sewers.
Pretty Easy: This pattern from Keepsake Quiltings uses less than one fat quarter per pumpkin. Simple instructions with a minimal charge for the pattern.
Medium: This pattern with instructions from Schlosser Designs is a bit more intricate with separate panels (great for mixing fabrics), but still not too tough.

And boy, am I dreaming up some fun fabric pumpkins with the fabrics I've got in stock! Here are a few favorites from my Halloween and Fall Collection:

Fabrics, left to right, from top left:

Halloween Hallmark Mummy, Pumpkin Dracula Fabric
