What a week. First Boston, then poisoned letters, then more devastation in Texas. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. In the wake of so much sadness, a small silver lining might be the extraordinary goodness of people who care and try to help. It's overwhelming to see.

If you're up for something lighter, here's what's going on this week:

~We're so excited to announce that 4my3boyz Fabrics Gift Certificates are now available, just in time for Mother's Day giving! Choose quantities of $5, $10, $25, $50, or $100 and we'll send an email certificate that can be used right away. There's also a field for you to enter a special message to your recipient.

Fabulous DIY Easter Dresses & Accessories

4my3boyz Easter Dresses

Easter dresses are one of my favorite parts of spring, so I've gathered some fun and adorable DIY dresses, skirts, and headbands for adults and little girls. When I look at all of our great fabrics at 4my3boyz, I can see these projects coming to life!

1. Fluffy Ruffle T-Shirt Dress Pattern - This Smitten Statice Flowers Fabric would be perfect for these little ruffles.

2. DIY Maxi Skirt - Bold Lemon Slices on Black Fabric would make this maxi skirt such a statement!

3. Big Bow Easter Dress - I can't decide, Small Bandana Fabric in Teal or Mary Englebreit Black and Red Dots on Yellow? You're right, both.

4. Fabric Flower Crown DIY - The Butterflies on a Floral Beige Fabric are perfect for this beautiful crown.

5. Lemon Dress Tutorial - Our Pinocchio Leaves on Yellow Fabric is begging to become this smart little dress.

6. Fabric Flower Headband - I love the contrast of colors, like Teal Bandana Fabric layered with bright Scrabbles Letters on Yellow Fabric. So cute!

Happy DIY-ing!

Fabulous Craft and Sewing Blogs

19. February 2013 07:52 by tbev | 0 Comments

Ready for some DIY eye candy? Here's a handful of fabulous bloggers you should be following.

A Stitch in Dye - Blogger Malka Dubrawsky creates colorful, imaginative designs that make fabric sing. If you're a quilter or a crafter, you'll be inspired to tackle one of her amazing creations. Favorites include Cheater Cloth and Twinkle Coverlet.

The Crafty Crow - If you love crafting with your kids, this is a site you need to bookmark. There is so much here to keep you and the kids engaged in the creative, crafty process. Check out the great St. Patrick's Day Crafts

Angry Chicken - This site is full of fun inspiration and great writing. You'll be inspired to look at your projects in a whole new way. I love blogger Amy Karol's way of appreciating the old and the new and finding creative ways to incorporate them together. Check out Vintage/New Quilt

Make and Takes - This site is a gold mine of fun, simple, craft ideas to do with your kids. Most of the time, the ideas incorporate simple supplies you already have around the house, like this simple Drawstring Bag. Brilliant!

Pair these great blogs with our novelty fat quarters, and I'd say it's a match made in heaven!
