 It's Turkey Time again so I thought I would share some Thanksgiving sewing projects and craft ideas I found to add a little warmth to this holiday season.

Welcome to September! We hope that you had a nice Labor Day Weekend.  Fall is fast approaching and there are many great do-it-yourself projects for this time of year.

For today's project, we thought we would link you up to a few different tutorials on how to make these wonderful Fall decorations.  These are easy and fun and add a perfect touch of fall to your home decor.

50 Things to do With a Fat Quarter: #14 Mini Tissue Pack Cover

For our fat quarter project this week, we thought we would sew this handy tissue pack cover. You can throw one in your purse, your diaper bag, or a child's back pack.  These are really simple and fast.

I am using a fun Bicycles, Scooters & Wagons fabric from the Dress Up Days collection designed by Doohikey Designs for Riley Blake Designs.  It is available at 4my3boys Fabrics.

Let's get started!

Step 1:  Gather your materials; a favorite fat quarter, rotary cutter, ruler, pins, and a tissue pack.

Step 2:  With rotary cutter and ruler, cut three rectangles 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Step 3:  Take two of the pieces and place them right side down. Then fold the fabric over 1" and iron it flat.

Step 4a: Place the back piece right-side up on the table.  4b: Take one of the front pieces and place it right-side down on top of the back piece, making sure to line up the top raw edges.  4c:  Take the other front piece and place it right-side down on top of the other two pieces, making sure to line up the bottom raw edges.  4d: Then pin it.

Step 5: sew! Using 1/4" sew allowance, sew around the entire rectangle.

Step 6: Turn the fabric right-side out and insert the tissues!
